The Alphas are from the parallel mirror-image (men are women, women are men) universe doppelgangers of the Omegas. Like the Omegas, the Alphas were all childhood friends and their spouses who gained mega-powers and banded together. Unlike their counterparts, the Alphas were given their powers by one of their own members (Singularity), and seek to conquer our planet, having done so on their own.
